| This English Marrow Scoop is Marked as above. These marks denote that it was made in London 1829-1830. The maker is John, Henry and Charles Lias. The book on English marks says this was one of the most Prolific 19 Century family firms.It is in excellent condition. On the back of the wider scoop is a Lion with a wing on either side and a designed bar on underneath. The pictures do not do the piece justice but it is hard to get a good picture of a hollowed out piece. |
