PAIR OF MUECK-CARY 8 1/4" CANDLE STICKS

These Mueck-Cary Candle Sticks are marked with the Mueck-Cary Trade Mark or Hall Mark, Sterling, reinforced with cement and 251. They are 8 1/4" high. The base is 4 ' in diameter and the top is 2 ' in diameter. This is a good clean pair of sticks. I see no problems with them. They might look crooked in the picture but they are perfectly straight. Inventory #MAU206. The price is $750.00.

GORHAM GRAVY BOAT 1893

This gravy boat is marked as you see above except that the Gorham Logo is on the top  can't be seen because of the reflection of the scanner light. So the marks are the Gorham Logo or Trade Mark, 585, sterling and the mark for manufacture in 1893. In the Center is the Crest of the Brown family from Baltimore City, Maryland. It is 4 1/8" to the top of the handle, 3" to the top of the main body. It is 7 3/4" long and 4 1/2" wide. It weighs 16 regular ounces or one pound. This is a beautiful, heavy hand chased piece. It is in excellent condition for the age. There is only one pinpoint dent in he bottom of the bowl. This is a rare find. Inventory #GOR132. The price is $1295.00.

CUPID AND GRAPE DESIGN RETICULATED BASKET DISH.

This reticulated handled dish is marked sterling and 2273. I do not find a maker mark on it. This is a hand made dish. The edge medallions, the grapes, the leaves and vine pieces are all made separately and applied to the base dish.Even the center Medallion was made separately and applied. In the center of each medallion is a winged cupid with a bow and arrow. It sits on four ball feet. It is 9 1/2" long and 7 3/4" wide. The dish itself is 1 1/2" high but to the top of the handle it is about 6 1/4" high. This one is really different and with cupids to boot. Inventory #ST393. The price is $995.00

16 INCH STERLING VASE

This 16 inch high sterling vase is marked J. E. Caldwell & Co., the Wilcox and Wagoner Logo or Trademark, A155, 28 3/4 oz troy, weighted and 2 with a sideways X. The vase actually weighs 48 troy ounces but that is with the weighting so the 28 3/4 oz troy is the actual amount of sterling silver in it. Wilcox and Wagoner were bought out by Watson in 1905 so this vase was made before that. As above it is 16 inches high and the top diameter is 7 inches. This is really a very large vase. Inventory # WATS9. The price is $1495.00

COCKTAIL MIXER AND POURER

This Cocktail Mixer and Pourer is marked Bailey Banks & Biddle Co., sterling, 8815, 3 pts., and the Redlich Logo. It weighs 26 regular ounces. It is 11 3/8" high, 7 1/2" from spout to end of handle, the top is 3 1/2" in diameter and the bottom is 3 1/4" in diameter. It is in excellent condition. There is no monogram. Inventory #RED72. The price is $1150.00.

HAND CHASED BUTTER DISH BY DOMINICK & HAFF

This hand chased butter dish is maked as you see above, the Dominick & Haff Logo or Trade Mark (this has the 925 for sterling in the square and 1886 in the diamond), Bailey Banks & Biddle, there is a number but it is worn off and the Bailey Banks & Biddle sterling mark (an S in a shield inside an oval, 925 in a larger shield and BBB in an oval). These Bailey Banks & Biddle marks date this piece from 1878 to1894.

It is 8" diiameter at the widest part, the bottom is 3 5/8" in diameter,  and the lid is 5" in diameter. The insert is good quality silver plate and is 4 7/8" in diameter. The overall height is 5". The weight of the two sterling parts is 20 regular ounces.

This piece is hand chased. It is in excellent condition. There is a monogram which is more of a work of art than a monogram. I really can't tell you what the letters are. You can see then pretty well in the picture maybe you can tell what they are. Inventory # DHAFF6. The price is $2950.00

GORHAM HURRICANE LAMPS

The bases of these Hurricane Lamps are marked Gorham, Sterling, the Gorham Logo or Trade Mark, 662, weighted and reinforced with other metal. The insert that holds the globe is marked Gorham sterling, C and 16. The bases are 4" high and 4" in diameter. There is 1" of the insert showing. The overall height of the lamps is 131/2". The globes are etched. This  pair is unique with a heavy base similar to the ones on the 13 inch three arms and with globes shaped as these are. Inventory #GOR96. The price is $395.00.

HOWARD & CO MUFFINEER.

This is one of the nicest and oldest Muffineers I have had. It is marked Howard & Co., 1892, New York and sterling. It is 8 1/2" tall. The bottom diameter is 2 3/4" and the body diameter is about 3 1/2" .  It weighs 11 1/2 regular ounces. There is a monogram AM. I think you can see the pheasant pecking at grapes at the bottom of the design. On Howard items the date it was made is the date above. Inventory #HOW89. The price is $995.00.

WINE COASTER

This all sterling wine coaster is marked Patent #D132-314, Edw. Lan Giovanni, and sterling. It is 4 3/8" in diameter and 3/4" high. There is no monogram. It is in excellent condition. Just one pinpoint touch on the bottom. Inventory #TOW108. The price is $145.00.
